    1970 Suzuki T250 Scrambler!
    The name alone should tell you this bike means business.  Over 30hp of pure 2-stroke fury, ready to smoke out your entire neighborhood.  The townspeople will thank you for providing free mosquito control.
    Details:
    1970 Suzuki T250... the upgraded model that succeeded the venerable T20
    6-Speed Transmission... revolutionary at the time
    2-Stroke, 250cc Parallel Twin
    It has an oil injection system - once again revolutionary at the time - so no premixing is necessary.  Simply pour 2-stroke oil into the oil tank that is on the right side of the bike.
    Tires are in good shape.  Bike runs excellent.  Battery is in good shape.  I just put a new fuel petcock on as the old one started leaking.  The owner before me put some sort of jet kit in the carbs, which I think was from a company in New England.  It runs really well, but probably a bit rich.  Gas tank has paint missing on the right side (see pic).  Seat has a tear that has been glued (see pic).  Front fender has some slight scuffing (see pic).  All in all, it's in great shape for a bike that's over 50 years old.  Always starts up on the first kick when warm.  Easy to get started when cold (maybe 3-4 kicks).
    I rode this in several vintage motorcycle tours (Moto Giro USA).  It's all I use it for, to be honest.  I bought this planning to make it absolutely perfect as I used to work as a professional mechanic many years ago when in college.  But, a good buddy recently sold me his 1964 Honda which has a lot of sentimental value to his family.  I only have room for one old bike, so unfortunately the Suzuki has to go.
    Bike is located in northeastern NJ, right near the GWB.  Always kept in my climate controlled garage.  I ride thousands of miles per year on my newer bikes and do quite a few track days each year.  Just not enough time and space.
